Christmas will be only two weeks away and merrymaking and celebration will be in the air as the Catholic Alumni Club coridally welcomes you to its 2009 Christmas Mass and Dinner/Dance.
Our annual Christmas festivities begin with Mass at 6 p.m. in St. John’s Church on 10103 Georgia Avenue (this year we are at the "new" church). Mass will be celebrated by our Chaplain.
Cocktails (cash bar) and hors d’oeuvres are served at 7:15 p.m., followed by a full course buffet dinner. At 9 p.m. dancing commences, with a DJ spinning some of our favorite dance tunes.
Mingle with friends and make new ones as you enjoy the spirit of the Christmas season.
Join us for this festive, fun-filled evening of wonderful people, great music, and a beautiful setting with a large dance floor. Tickets are $42 for non-members and only $32 for members.
Dress: the Christmas Dinner/Dance is a little more "dress-up" than our usual dances - business/cocktail attire.
Dinner Deadline: December 5. Reserve a place using PayPal from the Homepage of this website, or pay by check.

Directions: Directions: Take the Beltway (Route 495) to Exit 31A, Georgia Avenue/Wheaton (Route 97 North). If you are going to the Mass, continue North on Georgia a couple of blocks. St. John's church is on the right. If you are going to the dance, then after leaving the Beltway and getting to Georgia Avenue, immediately get into the left lane and take a left at the first traffic light onto Forest Glen Road. Proceed on Forest Glen Road for 0.3 mile and turn right onto Rosensteel Avenue. The Knights of Columbus Hall is the first building on the right. Lost? Call the Knights of Columbus at 301-588-3303.
By Metro:Take the Red Line to the Forest Glen Station. To reach the Mass, walk East on Forest Glen Road (toward Georgia). Walk across Georgia (careful, the traffic is heavy), then North on Georgia about a block to St. Johns Church. To reach the Dinner/Dance from the Metro, walk west on Forest Glen Road, away from Georgia Avenue (Route 97) for about two blocks, and turn right onto Rosensteel Avenue.
