January 8, CAC Dance in Arlington, Virginia

Come out of the cold and enjoy a fun filled evening at CAC’s January dance, Saturday, January 8 from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Arlington on 4610 North Fairfax Drive in Arlington, Virginia. Admission is $15 for non-members and $10 for members. CAC dances feature a DJ and popular music from the 50s through today.  Proper dress is required - no jeans or sneakers. Directions: From Bethesda, Maryland and Fairfax, Virginia, take the Beltway (Route 495) to Route 66 East toward Washington. Proceed on Route 66 for about 6 miles. Take Exit 71 (Fairfax Drive/ Glebe Road). The Holiday Inn is located 0.3 miles ahead on the right hand side of Fairfax Drive. From Alexandria, Virginia take the Washington Parkway to Route 395 South toward Richmond. Proceed on Route 395 to Exit 7 / Glebe Road North (Route 120). Follow Glebe Road North for 0.3 miles. Make a left on North Fairfax Drive. The Holiday Inn is on the left hand side of Fairfax Drive.

By Metro: Take the Orange Line to the Ballston stop and proceed three blocks west on Fairfax Drive. The Holiday Inn is on the left.

January 16, 40 Plus (or Minus) Dinner - Alexandria, VA

It's off to the Far East for the New Year! Join the 40-Plus (or Minus) group for dinner on Sunday, January 16 at 5 p.m. at the Bangkok Garden restaurant on 4906 St. Elmo Avenue in Bethesda, Maryland. The Bangkok Garden has been serving authentic Thai cuisine in the Washington area for more than twenty years. Their experienced chefs and friendly staff await us!
