Christmas will be only two weeks away and merrymaking and celebration will be in the air as the Catholic Alumni Club warmly welcomes you to its 2005 Christmas Mass and Dinner/Dance. Join us for a festive, fun-filled evening of wonderful people, good food, great music, and a beautiful setting with a large dance floor. Mingle with friends and make new ones as you enjoy the spirit of the Christmas Season.
Location: Knights of Columbus Hall, 9707 Rosensteel Avenue, Silver Spring, MD
Mass: Our annual Christmas celebration begins with Mass at 6:30 PM in lovely old St. John’s Church on 9700 Rosensteel Avenue, about 50 yards past the Knights of Columbus Hall. Mass will be celebrated by our Chaplain.
Cocktails and Dinner: Cocktails (cash bar) and hors d’oeuvres are served at about 7:20 PM followed by a full course buffet dinner at about 7:45 PM Enjoy a complete dinner consisting of fresh rolls, a tossed salad, chicken stuffed with broccoli and cheese, steamship beef, potatoes, vegetables, coffee, tea, and dessert.
Dancing: At 9 PM dancing commences with a DJ spinning our favorite dance tunes, from the 50’s through today.
There is a cash bar.
Dress: the Christmas Dinner/Dance is a little more "dress-up" than usual dances.
Tickets to the dinner/dance (reservations required by Dec.2) are $33.00 for non-members and $28.00 for members.
If you wish to attend the dance only, admission is $16.00 for non-members and $12.00 for members, payable at the door.
Reservations for the dance are not required.
