Various Online Events occur during the month, using the Zoom teleconference software, which is free to participants. Some of these are for members only. We also have in-person events, whose locations are listed on the calendar.

Saturday, September 26 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. (serving lunch from 12:30-3:00 p.m.) as we spend time in the sunshine eating, catching up with old friends, making new friends, and playing games. The picnic will be at Cabin John Regional Park on 7400 Tuckerman Lane in Bethesda, Maryland 20817. We will be at Picnic Shelter A.
We will be having hamburgers, veggies, fruit, chips, potato salad, watermelon, cookies, and drinks. Admission is $5 for CSGW and PTSC members and CSGW married alumni (former members), and $10 for non-CSGW members. Payment must be made online by September 23 here, or send us a message inquiring how to pay in advance by check. After September 23, to see whether space is available, and the cost payable onsite would be $10 for members, and $15 for non-members.
Directions: Take the Beltway (Route 495) to the Northwest quadrant. Take Route 270 North toward Frederick. Take Exit 1A for MD-187/Old Georgetown Road. Keep right at the fork, follow signs to merge onto MD-187 N/Old Georgetown Rd. In about 0.2 mile, turn left onto Tuckerman Lane. After 1.5 miles turn left into the park at 7400. The picnic is at Shelter A. (Note: there are two entrances to the park, but the one on WestLake Drive has construction in the parking lot, so don't use that entrance.)
